How long is the Ghost Walk?
The tour takes approximately 2 hours. Participants can anticipate periods of sporadic walking, between
locations.

What buildings do you go to?
If we told you, it would ruin the tour. All of the buildings are in the downtown Whitby area. New content is
added every year.

Do you go into any buildings on the tour?
Most of the places on the tour are private residences or businesses. We do not enter these locations. The
last stop on the tour is a public location, and you may be able to enter it.

How do I recognize the tour guides?
Tour guides are costumed in long dark capes, and carry lanterns.

Why are tours recommended for ages 10 and up?
Tours contain frightening information about ghosts, vampires, and zombies. Some children may be
frightened by explicit storytelling. Parental discretion is advised.

My child is under 10, can I bring them?
Yes, any age can attend the tour, with parental consent. Our youngest tour participant has been 4 years old.

Does anything "jump out" at you while on the tour?
No, at no time does anything "jump out". The stories told on the tour are scary enough!

Can I take pictures while on the tour?
If you would like to take photographs of the haunted locations, you are welcome to bring your digital
camera. Video cameras and other recording devices are prohibited.

What happens if it rains?
Tours depart rain or shine. Tours may be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.

How many people will be on the tour?
We require a minimum of 10 people to run a tour. The maximum amount we can take is 40 people.

Can I arrange a private tour?
Private tours can be arranged for groups of 10 or more. Please contact us for more information.

If I don't have a reservation, can I just show up for a tour?
Yes you can, although priority will be given to patrons who hold reservations. It is always best to contact us
to ensure the tour is still leaving as scheduled.
